A Michigan man is staring down a brutal rap sheet after cops allege he gunned down a car lot owner and an innocent customer in a fiery clash over a lemon Hummer. The bloodshed went down on November 7 at Star Auto Sales, where the shooter, 46-year-old Terrance Jermaine Sandles, allegedly came back weeks after dropping three grand on a hunk-of-junk 2007 GMC—then flipped his lid when the dealership wouldn’t make it right.
Cops say Sandles had been stewing for weeks. He stormed back to the lot that morning, demanding face time with the owner, Marvan Batoo. What followed wasn’t just harsh words: investigators claim Sandles pulled a gun and blew Batoo away in cold blood. Ghaith Baban, some poor sap just there to buy a car, caught a stray bullet mid-meeting. No warning, no chance—just wrong place, wrong time.
Then, like some low-budget crime flick, authorities say Sandles grabbed cash from the register and bolted. Cops tracked his ride using license plate scanners, cornering him at a nearby motel. Inside, they allegedly found two guns—one right next to him on the bed—plus the stolen dough.
