Some people think because they’re on a hot motorcycle they can get away from any cop, but this video proves otherwise. As the guy flees the police in Jacksonville, Florida by going through residential areas, he’s surprised by a lone state trooper who comes in the opposite direction, slamming into his bike and ending the chase.

Watch a lane splitting motorcyclist get busted by a trooper.

We don’t know what this guy did, but you can hear the call go out on the radio for help in the dashcam footage. The trooper and another one get off the highway and take to surface streets. Eventually, they’re snaking through the residential neighborhood, positioning just so.

And that’s when you see our camera car come around a corner fast, springing the trap on the fleeing motorcyclist. Using his push bar, he hits the front corner of the bike, knocking the guy off, foiling any chance of escape.

It’s a quick, brutal way to end the pursuit. We expect some will think it’s cheap shot, but others will say that’s what you get for running from police. It does prove that you can in a way PIT out a motorcycle.

The suspect sure isn’t dressed for a high-speed pursuit. While he’s wearing a full-face helmet which helps to obscure his identity, that’s about it for personal protection. After all, he’s wearing tennis shoes and jeans, which aren’t that great in a slide on pavement.

But even worse, they guy’s wearing a tank top and no gloves. Yet he’s pushing it, trying to outrun a bunch of cops. It’s not a bright idea at all.

It’s also interesting to note on the bike’s windscreen is what looks like the drawing of a woman’s face. What a weird thing to have, but we have no explanation, only having seen similar stuff before.
