Teen In BMW M3 Thought He Could Outrun A Cop

Running from police is a bad idea, something this teenager in a BMW M3 didn’t understand but learned the hard way. After he was caught big time speeding in daddy’s car, the kid decided it would be better to test his skills behind the wheel than pull over and face the consequences.

A Ram TRX owner also thought no cop could catch him, then paid the price.

Sadly, that choice brought more severe consequences for the kid than if he had just pulled over. Dashcam footage released from Bryan County, Georgia shows the deputy who originally clocked the Bimmer going 72 in a 45 mph zone attempt a traffic stop.

In the footage, you see the kid turns onto a side road, then heads down yet another two-lane rural street at high speed all in an attempt to slip away. But the deputy isn’t the least bit fooled.

Even though he’s driving a slower vehicle, the deputy has training and is the better driver. It’s always the unskilled who think the car they’re driving automatically makes them faster.

All that power in the hands of unskilled driver, like a teenager who lacks experience, can instead just make them more likely to lose control. That’s exactly what this kid did as he went through an S-curve at 120 mph.

The 19-year-old who thought he could run from cops without consequence hit another car head-on before spinning out and hitting several trees. Thankfully, the driver of that other vehicle wasn’t seriously injured.

But the teenager in the BMW M3 sustained fatal injuries. His car caught on fire so quickly, police could only watch helplessly as they waited for a fire crew to arrive. This is why you don’t run from cops.
