A 2025 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing that was once a high-performance luxury sedan is now set to cross the auction block in Oklahoma City — but this one is far from pristine. The car, which was heavily damaged in a fire, is listed for sale on IAAI with both interior and exterior burns, leaving little more than a scorched shell of what was once Cadillac’s flagship performance model.

Virtually every exterior component of the CT5-V Blackwing shows signs of severe fire damage. The once-aggressive body lines are now warped, with melted headlights, grille, mirror caps, taillights, and trim pieces. The paint is completely burned away, revealing darkened, twisted panels, while the windows are blackened from smoke. Inside, the damage appears just as extensive, with the cabin completely charred and unsalvageable.

According to the auction listing, the vehicle carries a “junk” title in Oklahoma, making it unsuitable for road use. It’s also listed as non-running, meaning it can’t be started or driven under its own power. The odometer reading is marked as irrelevant due to the extent of the damage.

Before the fire, the CT5-V Blackwing was among the most powerful sedans in production, featuring a 6.2-liter supercharged V8 engine producing 668 horsepower and 659 pound-feet of torque. It could accelerate from zero to 60 mph in just 3.4 seconds and reach speeds exceeding 200 mph.

While its current value is only a fraction of its original $95,595 MSRP, the vendor notes that the estimated pre-loss cash value was slightly above $100,000. The charred remains will be sold at a future IAAI auction, though restoring the vehicle to its former glory would likely exceed its market worth.
