Florida Woman Rams SUV Into Husband’s Office After Argument

Estimated read time 2 min read

No argument justifies using your car as a weapon, which is exactly what Lee County Sheriff’s Office says a Florida woman did with her GMC SUV. This woman apparently got into a tiff with her husband, drove to his work, and proceeded to ram a garage door in an attempt to get inside, you know, to talk and stuff.

EV owners think confronting “crackheads” stealing their charging cables will end well.

Either the husband, who wisely refused to leave the refuge of the building, or someone else called 911 and deputies responded just after 2 am on December 9. With how reasonable Sandra Escobar’s actions were, we can’t imagine why her husband didn’t want to let her in so she could just act crazy and stuff.

As you can see from the photos taken by deputies, Escobar did a fair amount of damage to a roll-up garage door and the front end of her SUV, but not enough to gain entry to Iguana Mia’s corporate office. When deputies arrived on the scene, they found her still behind the wheel of her vehicle, reports Fox 13 Tampa Bay, and so were easily able to take her into custody.

“A reckless woman is behind bars, where she belongs, following a senseless criminal act that could have escalated if not for the swift actions of our team,” said Lee County Sheriff Carmine Marceno. We couldn’t agree with him more.

We don’t care who you are, man or woman, you don’t use your car as a battering ram or to run someone over just because they made you angry. This kind of thing happens more than most people realize and thankfully in this case the aggressor was arrested and hopefully will face some consequences. We also hope Escobar’s husband gets the help he needs, including a good divorce attorney since we can’t imagine he has a happy, healthy domestic life.
