We’ll say it again: street takeover participants aren’t car enthusiasts. They’d like the label, but they know little about their vehicles and even less about driving them well, a point made painfully clear in this latest display of incompetence behind the wheel.
Genuine skill is conspicuously absent from these reckless gatherings. The clumsy driving on display reinforces the view that takeovers are about spectacle and chaos, not the knowledge and respect true enthusiasts have for their cars.
