Inexperienced Biker Flees From Police, Then This Happens

Watching an obviously inexperienced biker run from police is a cringe-inducing experience for us. First of all, we keep waiting for guys like the one in this dashcam video to wipe out most gloriously. We’ve seen that happen plenty of times before. Also, we can’t believe how bad they are at riding, which really comes out when they push the envelope.

This guy was speeding along when a deputy noticed there was no visible tag on the motorcycle. The rider had bent the expired tag up so it wasn’t visible. Then he feigns pulling over, only to take off, leading the deputy and his colleagues on a chase that reaches speeds upwards of 150 mph.

One of the deputies tries to force the guy to stop, veering onto the shoulder. But our genius suspect, who doesn’t know much about riding, tries off-roading his bike. He eventually guns it on the concrete slope of an overpass, predictably flipping his motorcycle.

There’s an old saying that the more you learn, the more you understand just how little you know. It’s an ironic twist which should humble someone. But if you don’t know much about something, say like riding a motorcycle, then you believe you pretty much have it down, not realizing there are so many things you’re not even aware of.

This is why everyone who rides a motorcycle should receive professional instruction. We know a lot of guys think they don’t need that because their daddy taught them how to ride, but it’s possible their father didn’t know much, either.

Maybe that’s why we see so many inexperienced riders run from police, too. They think they’re so good at riding, and that their bike can outrun police cruisers no problem, so they go for it. The thing that’s unbelievable with this guy is it later comes out he’s on parole for running from deputies in another county.

In other words, this guy didn’t learn his lesson the first time. We’re not sure if there’s any helping someone who stubbornly keeps doing stupid stuff. But if he keeps this sort of thing up, he’s likely going to end up in a fatal crash one day.
