With the Ford Mustang GT being the last V8 muscle car on the market, it was only a matter of time before law enforcement scooped them up. Sure enough, North Carolina State Highway Patrol recently announced it had acquired 20 of the powerful pony cars.
The dwindling supply of V8 patrol options makes the Mustang an appealing choice. The acquisition reflects a broader trend of agencies turning to the GT for capable pursuit vehicles as traditional options fade from the market.
