A Porsche Panamera drives through a concrete barrier and off the parking deck at a New York Target store, leaving so many unanswered questions. This is one of those cases where the more you learn, the more confusing it all becomes.
Arizona woman survives car crash, being trapped inside for almost two days.
First of all, the owner of the Porsche, which may or may not have been stolen, showed up from Pennsylvania at the scene of the crash while ABC7NY was filming. She simply told the reporter she received a phone call about the accident, providing zero details about who had the car or if he had permission to drive it.
The driver apparently walked into a nearby ER after the crash, someone who works at the hospital but didn’t want to be identified told ABC7NY. That person said the driver didn’t sustain the kinds of injuries he thought he would considering how far the Porsche fell, landing on the roof.
As police cleared the vehicle before having it towed away, the news camera captured quite a bit of cash and a cell phone left on top of the overturned chassis. Usually we see that sort of thing in drug trafficking or dealing cases, but we don’t know if that’s what was going on in the Target parking lot.
The ER worker said the driver claimed some people attacked him so he just blindly drove off, crashed through the parking deck retaining wall, and plunged to the ground below. If it were a drug deal gone bad, that would line up with the claim that some people tried attacking the driver.
Ultimately, this weird case definitively showcased one thing: Porsche Panameras are tough cars. The fact the driver walked away from the crash is nothing short of amazing.
