Cool As Ice Dodge Charger Driver Walks Away From Backyard Pool Crash

The old joke is that whenever there’s some idiotic crash it’s always a Mustang, but more often than not it’s really a Dodge Charger. Because of that, we laughed when we first saw that one of the Mopar muscle cars smashed through a Long Island home’s fence, ending up in the backyard pool. However, the way the driver just waltzed away after is what really shocked us.

A fire department is celebrating successfully using an EV fire blanket.

Surveillance footage from the house shows the Charger smash through the white vinyl fencing as it was obviously speeding, acting like a bull in a China shop. As it kept rocketing forward, the muscle car was spun 180 degrees, the nose hanging over the backyard pool.

The driver was lucky the vehicle didn’t end up in the frigid water. Instead of expressing gratitude at his good fortune, he gathered up his jacket and phone, then with the help of a couple of guys from a car that was following behind him, just walked off like nothing happened.

You can see in the video shared by CBS New York just how calm and cool the guy is. He was completely unbothered.

The woman who owns the Long Island home told a reporter the Dodge reeked of pot, so we think we know how this guy acted like wrecking out was nothing.

We also strongly suspect the guy caught on the surveillance footage was out joyriding in a stolen ride. If he owned the thing, he would’ve been more concerned with getting it out of the pool and to a repair shop while filing an insurance claim.

Instead, he was more into getting out of the scene of the crime. But it’s interesting the guy didn’t run or look the least bit concerned he might be caught if he didn’t hurry up.

So there you go, Mustang fans, show this to your buddies or family members who give you a bunch of grief. It’s not always a Mustang – sometimes it’s a Charger.
