Kids do the darndest things, like this one in Wisconsin who crashed his dad’s Ford GT supercar into the woods. We don’t know the exact age of this offspring, but looking at the people standing around the vehicle on the side of the road, we’re going to guess he was either in his late teens or early 20s.

Lest you think junior took daddy’s supercar without permission, his father was there with him. According to witnesses who jumped on the Reddit thread about this unfortunate mishap, pops was driving his Corvette ZR1 and saw his son eat it while trying to power through a turn.

Obviously, dad has a lot of money since he owns two dream cars. While that’s great, we honestly think he needs some psychological evaluation. After all, who hands the keys to a supercar to their young son and lets him race other cars on twisting, winding mountain roads?
That’s what a group of enthusiasts descended on Mount Horeb, Wisconsin to do. The roads around the little town are apparently legendary for being challenging and fun. But this kid was clearly in over his head.
Usually, younger, less experienced drivers require something much lower-powered to get the hang of driving, especially when it comes to anything competitive. The son obviously couldn’t really handle the Ford GT, which is why he ended up off the road.

According to the Reddit crowd, the guy was allegedly chasing a friend who was behind the wheel of a Mazda Miata. Now the diehard Miata crowd thinks this is a sign their beloved Japanese roadster is better than a Ford GT.
We think it’s a sign junior doesn’t know how to drive it properly. Perhaps daddy should’ve given him the keys to a Miata, instead?
Apparently, the damage to the supercar was mostly cosmetic, like the rockers. But it had to be winched out of the woods by a tow truck, which did it by wrapping around one of the magnesium wheels, cracking it. Then the guy charged the dad $500 for the effort.
