Ram Truck Stolen Along With Relatives Ashes

This means more than just a stolen truck…

Recently, a man has come forward to police in Canada because of the recent theft of his ram pick up truck. Stolen right out from under him in his own driveway, the truck is obviously a pretty valuable possession. However, something even more valuable was also taken in that same action. That was the remains of a long lost family member.

It all happened one night after checking on the vehicle before bed. At around 11:30 PM, the owner stated he had seen the car during his nightly check up routine. Assuming that everything was in order, the man quickly went off to bed. Little did he know, by 6:30 AM the next morning, his truck would be gone. Just behind the driver seat, in the floor storage container, there’s a cardboard box with a relative‘s ashes sitting in the back.

An obviously traumatizing experience for anyone, the theft of a loved one’s remains is absolutely sickening, though the thieves clearly didn’t do it because of the ashes and probably had no idea they were there. Needless to say, this means a lot to the owner of this vehicle to get not only his stuff back but also the ashes. Hopefully he’ll be able to do that soon as police have already issued a statement to be on the lookout.
