Most people aren’t fans of speed cameras, and as more states and countries add them despite some bans, frustration is growing. One Italian man, known online by a nickname, has taken matters into his own hands by cutting down speed cameras in a vigilante campaign.
Destroying enforcement equipment is illegal, however popular it may be with frustrated drivers. The campaign reflects deep public resentment toward speed cameras, even as such vigilante acts carry their own legal risks.
