Running from police almost always catches up with a person eventually, but a rider on an unregistered dirt bike managed to give six Arkansas state troopers the slip after being spotted popping a wheelie. The getaway was a rare success.
Nimble off-road machines can exploit gaps that patrol cars simply can’t follow, occasionally allowing a rider to vanish. Still, such escapes tend to be short-lived victories, as identifying riders later often brings the law back around.
