Los Angeles truly is the capital of marathon police chases. While the O.J. Simpson pursuit is often cited for its absurdity, we’ve seen plenty of others this year and in years past that leave us shaking our heads.
One recent example featured the CHP ending a chase by PITting a fleeing Lexus that was already missing a tire. The crippled sedan never stood a chance of getting away.
