1969 Chevelle Stolen From Secured Canadian Compound

Thieves are still very much on the hunt for classic cars as well as modern rides, like how this 1969 Chevelle and the trailer it was inside were stolen from a secured compound recently. The theft took place in Kelowna, British Columbia on August 9 and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, whom we lovingly refer to as Mounties, want the public’s help finding it.

The EPA has busted a small Nebraska car dealership.

While there are many ’69 Chevelles out there, this one is more distinct with that blower. If you know someone who suddenly happens to have one just like this, you might want to contact the Mounties and give them a hot tip.

According to a report from PentictonNow, the theft took place at about 8:30 pm on August 9 with surveillance cameras capturing the GMC pickup that hauled it and the trailer it was inside away. The theft wasn’t discovered and reported until August 12.

The white trailer is a 2001 Pace America with a Honda Racing sticker on the side. We know, that’s not too distinct so we doubt that will pique as much interest as the Chevy muscle car. Same goes for the late 2000s GMC Sierra HD dually truck which was recorded taking off with the trailer and car. It’s blue/green with an extended cab, extended bed, plus chrome side steps and rocker panels. In other words, tacky-looking.

We’re not sure what kind of secured complex the Chevelle and the car trailer was inside. Perhaps it was some sort of storage facility? Sadly, thieves often get tips about desirable rides like this kept in such places, then they study the security measures to find a way through them so they can get their quarry.

Hopefully someone recognizes this Chevy, which is rather distinct, and the owner gets it back in one piece. Then the thieves are prosecuted the fullest extent of the law.
