If you want proof that thieves will take your beloved ride and strip it to the bones, check out this woman’s Dodge Charger which was stolen then recently recovered. Well, the frame was recovered along with the windshield and back window. Honestly, we’re surprised the thieves left that much.

A dealership is offering a cash reward for information about a Dodge Hellcat heist.

The story, which is waking up some people in the St. Louis area, was featured on local news station First Alert 4 recently. While for us this is just another case of a chop shop taking pretty much everything, we understand for normies it’s shocking to see that level of theft.

This is why we say you need to install extra aftermarket security on your car, especially if you own something like a Mopar that thieves often want.

Stolen from an apartment complex parking lot in St. Charles County, Missouri on August 5, the owner contacted St. Louis City Police to report it stolen. She also took to Facebook, spreading the word that way.

It was through the social media site that someone reached out to let the owner know what was left of her Charger had been found in a Baden neighborhood. For understandable reasons, the woman is quite upset at the ultimate outcome.

In the report, it’s mentioned the Charger had a Club steering wheel lock and a “security system” of some sort. We know some people just love the Club but we’ve honestly found them to be essentially worthless when dealing with even a somewhat skilled, determined thief. And who knows what kind of security system she was using.

It’s worth spending a little more on an advanced system that keeps thieves from starting your car instead of just opting for an alarm.
