Somewhere along the line, part of society missed the lesson that fleeing police is inherently dangerous. We’re not sure how that message escaped them, since it seems self-evident, yet some people genuinely believe they can outrun officers without consequence.
In this case, the danger extended to an Arkansas trooper who broke a leg during the pursuit. It’s a sobering reminder that these chases put officers at real physical risk.
