Police in New York are advising drivers to strip any and all bumper stickers and decals from their cars. While we’ve heard of people using stickers or magnets to partially hide a license plate, a practice we don’t recommend, this warning is about something else.
The concern is that personal decals can reveal details criminals might exploit. It’s an interesting precaution worth considering for anyone wary of giving away too much about themselves.
