Suspects In Two Vehicles Mess With Arkansas Police

Estimated read time 2 min read

We keep wondering why anyone runs from police in Arkansas considering how aggressive and competent the state troopers are. But this video of two suspects running from Little Rock and Arkansas State Police helps answer that question: crazy people. After all, who would try ramming a trooper as he’s chasing their buddy?

Did Arkansas State Police get this one wrong?

That’s exactly what we get with this two-for-one pursuit footage and it’s pretty wild. State troopers are called by Little Rock Police Department to help with the fleeing suspects, one in a Chevy Malibu and one in a Jeep Grand Cherokee. They’re not the hottest getaway cars, but as you’re about to see these suspects decide they’ll make up for that with boldness.

After troopers jump into the chase, the two suspects split up, driving into a neighborhood. In one of the dashcam videos we get footage from a trooper who locks onto the Malibu, however at a crossroads the Jeep comes roaring up from the right, almost T-boning the cruiser as the trooper swerves at the last moment. That takes some serious cojones.

Not too long after that, the trooper starts to get into position to PIT the Chevy, the Grand Cherokee driver moves to block. Maybe it’s the guy’s little brother in the Malibu? Or his girlfriend? He seems incredibly anxious about the other suspect getting caught, willing to risk it all to help them get away.

The Malibu finally gets pushed off the road by a trooper as the driver slows down at a crossroad. As for the Jeep, that suspect loses control trying to take a turn too fast, slamming into the front of a house.

Check out both videos for yourself.
