Infiniti G37 Messes With Florida Highway Patrol

Estimated read time 3 min read

It’s amazing to us how many drivers think they can take on law enforcement agencies like Florida Highway Patrol just because they have a lightly modified vehicle. What’s really ironic is that this Infiniti G37 was noticed by troopers because of the loud exhaust and illegal window tint, prompting a traffic stop attempt.

Watch a fleeing Chevy Cruze get manhandled by police.

Rather than just pull over and deal with consequences, the young driver thought he would run and face even more severe consequences. Actually, we think he believed his car could outrun the fuzz, but he soon finds out it’s not all that fast and his skills behind wheel are lacking.

After one trooper spots the Infiniti, he radios to his colleague and they maneuver to corral him into the right lane. Once they do, both troopers turn on their emergency lights and blip the siren, a sign they mean business.

But our suspect doesn’t just admit he’s caught. No, the kid who probably has lived in the fantasy world of TikTok and Xbox decides he can roast the troopers. Like we said, we can’t believe people think this way, but we see it all the time.

He slips out of the box and guns it, but the one trooper in his lumbering SUV is able to keep pace. That’s embarrassing to anyone who thinks a G37 with bolt-on mods is fast, because it really isn’t.

Wasting no time, that trooper catches the Infiniti’s rear quarter panel with his cruiser’s push bar, flipping the sedan around hard in a nicely executed PIT maneuver.

Our suspect seems to think he’s going to driver out of the first PIT, so the second trooper who’s been hanging behind delivers the final blow, another hard PIT which seems to knock some sense into the kid.

Well, it would’ve knocked some sense into him had he not been consuming a steady diet of fantasy. The kid takes off even as troopers have him at gunpoint. Does he think the Infiniti magically will become faster after getting pitted twice?

They chase him down after he flees through a neighborhood and the driver wrecks out. Driving in real life is much harder than in video games. Running is also harder than sitting on the couch in fantasy land, something the suspect hopefully learns next.

But we seriously wonder if this guy won’t try something like this again once he’s out of jail.
