Street racing is a foolish pastime for plenty of reasons, not least the steep penalties that come with getting caught. Running from police only makes matters worse, and doing so in Arkansas against state troopers is an especially poor decision.
That lesson landed hard for the racers in this case when Arkansas State Police shut them down. Trading a citation for a far more serious set of charges is rarely a trade worth making.
