Even those wearing a badge are capable of reckless, unlawful behavior. A Polk County, Florida deputy was arrested after leading fellow officers on a high-speed chase along Highway 89 in the early morning hours of September 4.
The pursuit reportedly reached speeds of up to 130 mph before it ended. Cases like this are an uncomfortable reminder that accountability has to apply to everyone, including the people normally tasked with enforcing the law.
