A human smuggler fleeing Texas police in an older Dodge Charger offered a clear demonstration that the driver matters more than the machine. While the aging Mopar is hardly the hottest car on the road, it should have been quick enough to put up a real fight.
Instead, the driver’s poor skills squandered whatever advantage the Charger offered. The chase reinforced the lesson that horsepower is wasted on someone who cannot drive, as the smuggler’s clumsy attempt to escape quickly fell apart.
