There’s a perception that if you want a used Ferrari, you’ll need to pay well into the six digits to own one. While we can debate the cost of maintenance and repairs on different models, there are some you can get for under $100,000, including this 2007 Ferrari 612 Scaglietti we recently found up for sale.
Learn how to spot a lemon car.
Some purists will say this isn’t a “real” Ferrari because the engine sits up front and it’s a 2+2. We hate to break it to those people, but many classic Ferraris don’t qualify under that very narrow definition of a “real Ferrari.”

For the right person, this 612 Scaglietti could be a great ride. We think it looks striking in gray and the tan interior is nice, including the quilted leather headliner. It’s definitely a luxurious ride, something you and three others could enjoy taking for a nice, longer-distance drive.
Named after Sergio Scaglietti, a stylist and coachbuilder from Modena who designed the bodies for multiple Ferraris back in the 50s and 60s, the 612 Scaglietti was designed by Pininfarina. Not everyone’s a fan of the aesthetics, though.
While the looks of the car have been controversial, few can argue with its performance. Packing a 5.7-liter V12 that produces 533-horsepower and 434 lb.-ft. of torque, combined with single-clutch automatic developed for Formula One and paddle shifters, it’s a riot to drive.

In the photos, we’re hard pressed to find any major blemishes on the exterior of interior of the Ferrari. It looks to have been babied.
With just under 30,000 miles on the odometer, the owner is asking just below $90,000 for this 2+2 from Maranello. Is that overpriced? A deal? Tell us what you think.
