Wrecked Dodge Durango Hellcat Sells For $80,000

The Dodge Durango Hellcat is a red hot ride, as clearly shown by one that was in a crash yet still sold online for $80,000. Obviously, the muscular crossover has been fixed since, but airbags deployed, which usually diminishes value big time.

GM is doing something with the old Panther name.

According to the lot listing on Bring A Trailer, the 2024 Durango Hellcat was in a crash back in August 2024 with “moderate damage” done to the front passenger side, which included the hood, bumper, and fender. But looking at the photos, you wouldn’t know it.

Even better, the thing is basically brand new with just 253 miles on the odometer. While we know the Durango Hellcat is coming back for at least another year, we wonder how many who were bidding on this Mopar realized that, perhaps thinking it was their only shot at a new one.

The spec is great, with a Diamond Black exterior which flaunts the curves of this ride quite well and pairs excellently with 20-inch black aluminum wheels, red calipers, and that signature racetrack taillight. Of course, it has the telltale Hellcat hood with scoop and heat diffusers, plus the fender and grille badges.

As you would expect, the interior looks new, including the Black and Demonic Red Laguna leather seats, which are heated and ventilated. The thing is loaded with goodies like remote start, dual-zone automatic climate control, adaptive cruise control, navigation, and a 10.1-inch infotainment touchscreen.

In the final half hour of bidding on this Dodge Durango Hellcat, the price quickly soared from $51,000 to $80,000. While you might think that’s an insane price to pay for something with a blemished Carfax, many would disagree.

It’s a good thing Dodge is coming back with the Hemi V8, including the Hellcat line. This auction proves the desirability of these rides is high and probably won’t wane for some time.
