How Embarrassing: Showoff Camaro Crashes In Atlanta

Mustang fans, you’re going to love this video of a showoff Camaro driver wrecking big time into a building in Atlanta. It’s the perfect example of how it’s not always a Mustang, proving that Chevy’s muscle car is dangerous in the hands of an overconfident amateur.

This guy tried showing off on bald tires and paid a dear price.

The incident, of course, involves someone trying to do some stunts on a narrow street that’s lined with cars. We at first thought the Camaro was going to plow into one of those parked rides, but it fortunately didn’t.

Instead, as the V8 screams, you see the muscle car comes into the frame and some fool is hanging out of the passenger window. It looks like just when people do street takeovers, only the vehicle isn’t doing smoky donuts in an intersection.

The driver is still trying to drift while going up the street, but he obviously doesn’t know how. Instead, he’s just swerving back and forth like he’s trailing a pace car in the Brickyard 500. But he can’t do that right, either.

Jerking the steering wheel to the right too much, he causes the rear-wheel-drive, front-engine ride to lose control and shoot off to the left, right into a brick building.

The guy hanging out the window gets tossed like a ragdoll into the A-pillar. We wonder how many ribs he cracked?

Obviously, the Chevy doesn’t handle the collision well at all. The front fascia and bumper cover are destroyed. It looks like there might be damage to one the front axles, but the guy who thought trying to drift on a narrow, crowded street was a good idea tries driving off anyway.

But as he backs up from the building, which is cracked from the impact, we can see the front passenger wheel doesn’t turn, instead dragging like a dead foot on the pavement. But the muscle car rolls forward it does turn in that direction.

We don’t think driving the Chevy after that crash was a good idea, but the driver was likely trying to escape responsibility for the crash that was completely his fault.
