French Bulldog Ejected From Rolled Car in Thanksgiving DUI Crash, Found Unharmed

A Thanksgiving Night Crash in California

A Thanksgiving night crash in California ended with a startling scene after a French bulldog was ejected from a vehicle that rolled during a two-car collision. According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash was caused by a driver who was impaired at the time.

A Dog Sent Flying, Another Trapped in the Wreck

The two vehicles collided late that evening, and one rolled over hard enough to eject the bulldog from inside. Responders on scene were initially concerned for the dog’s safety, while a second, smaller dog remained trapped inside the wrecked vehicle.

Both Dogs Recovered Safely

Despite the severity of the crash, the ejected bulldog was found unharmed, and both dogs were eventually reunited. The human drivers involved also escaped with only minor injuries, though one was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.

A Preventable Holiday Crash

Emergency crews treated minor injuries at the scene and confirmed both animals were safely accounted for before the case was closed. The incident serves as a reminder of the elevated risk on the road during major holidays, when impaired driving incidents tend to spike alongside heavier traffic.
