We can’t recall ever seeing a police chase involving a Lexus RC-F, or even a regular RC, since any Lexus in a pursuit is rare. So this one, in which a driver in an RC-F believed he could outrun Georgia State Patrol, stood out as unusual from the start.
An uncommon choice of getaway car doesn’t change the typical outcome. The RC-F driver’s confidence proved misplaced, joining the long list of fleeing motorists who learned that performance alone can’t outrun trained troopers.
