A Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk that was part of a street takeover in Compton, California tried to flee as police moved in, only to catch fire. The blaze broke out on May 22 before 1:30 am.
Many saw a measure of poetic justice in the powerful SUV going up in flames. It was a fitting end for a vehicle caught up in the lawless event.
