Los Angeles is famous for its drawn-out police chases, owing partly to local pursuit policies and partly to the sprawling freeway network. Many of these chases end when a suspect boxes themselves in or realizes they can’t keep running.
This stolen Alfa Romeo Giulia suspect, however, tried a crafty trick to throw off pursuers. The inventive tactic added an unusual wrinkle to an otherwise familiar LA chase.
