Interesting police chases out of Idaho are a rarity, but this one more than makes up for the drought. Law enforcement has long emphasized how difficult it is to shoot out a fleeing vehicle’s tires, which is exactly why tools like Stop Sticks and PIT maneuvers exist.
In this case, an Idaho officer managed to do just that, taking out a murder suspect’s tires. It was an unusually precise outcome in a situation where such shots rarely land.
