Arkansas State Police take a dim view of drivers who flee traffic stops, and their intensity ratchets up when a more serious crime is involved. So when a Chevy Tahoe suspected of trafficking drugs escaped Oklahoma Highway Patrol and crossed into Arkansas, it was heading into hostile territory.
The troopers wasted little time bringing the fleeing SUV to a hard stop. It’s another example of how seriously the agency treats suspects who try to run with something to hide.
