A woman was taken on a wild ride by her date she met through an unnamed dating app, the guy leading Arkansas State Police on a high-speed chase. Even worse, that woman had her baby along for the ride in a twist troopers and we didn’t see coming.
New York man watches helplessly as thieves steal his Dodge Hellcat right in front of him.
There are so many questions about this situation and unfortunately we don’t get all the answers. While the dashcam footage is pretty straightforward, with troopers chasing down the speeding Nissan, then pitting it out, it’s what happens in the aftermath that’s so interesting.
Troopers just find the scared, confused woman and the baby in the sedan, the driver having taken off before they could arrive at the crash scene. That’s probably worse than faking going to the bathroom and leaving his date to pay for dinner.
In these modern times dating apps have become one way people meet and mingle. Some think this is the absolute bane of society or the destruction thereof, while others just see it as another way to find people to date and possibly get into a serious relationship.
Sometimes these interactions end poorly, although a police chase and PIT maneuver at high speeds seems a little dramatic. Usually, it’s just an awkward goodbye after an hour or two of excruciating conversation.
But it sounds like this guy imprisoned the woman and her child, taking them on a police chase where they were spun around at 134 mph before crashing. Then like the perfect gentleman, the guy just took off. K9 officers reportedly found him in the woods later, so he didn’t just get away.
We just wonder how many warrants he has? Be careful using dating apps or meeting people at bars or wherever else since some are looking to deceive and take advantage of anyone who will trust them.
