Ah BMW drivers, they’re Mustang drivers with Bavarian flavoring, as this video of an M3 hitting the wall, quite literally, clearly illustrates. It happens as the guy is leaving a car meet, naturally, just like so many Mustang crashes. Showing off is truly the Kryptonite of these types and we’re here for it.

This historic dashcam footage shows Minneapolis Police actually chasing a suspect.

As captured by a pedestrian filming cars leaving a meet in Orlando, Florida, the BMW M3 flies by with ferocity, the crowd being rather impressed by the aural Teutonic symphony. But impressing the crowd of wanna-bes at a meet only goes so far, especially when you eat it afterward.

And man does this guy eat it! Honestly, the fact he crashed wasn’t all that shocking. Despite having a nice, legitimately fast car, the driver was obviously in over his head early on. After all, the M3 was swaying back and forth like a cowboy leaving a bar early on in the video.

That’s really at the heart of the issue here: people not knowing their limits as drivers, not the actual cars. Some blame the vehicles, and while we see a lot of Mustangs and Bimmers engaged in this type of foolishness, remember they are just tools and it’s the people in the driver’s seat who make the difference.

After wobbling the BMW M3, the driver full on torque steers the thing off the road. In the first video shared to Instagram, you can’t really see what happens. The second one shows the car turned around on the side of the road, but the third one shows the rear contacted a masonry wall, banging up the bumper and trunk lid quite a bit.

By that point there’s a police officer on the scene and it’s obvious the driver will be facing some consequences beyond just wrecking his ride. Remember this next time you’re leaving a car meet, because crashing your vehicle in the pursuit of impressing some strangers isn’t worth it.
