Few police departments field a vehicle capable of matching a Dodge Scat Pack, whether Charger or Challenger. While a handful of agencies operate Scat Packs or even Hellcats and Redeyes, they remain rare exceptions, giving a fleeing muscle car driver a potential edge.
That advantage tempted one Scat Pack driver to run from Michigan police. Raw speed alone rarely guarantees escape, however, and the pursuit served as another reminder that a fast car does not erase the radios, helicopters, and coordination working against it.
