The plan, if there was one, remains a mystery. For 47 minutes, a man led Indiana police on a wild pursuit behind the wheel of a stolen school bus. Dashcam footage shared by Fox59 shows the yellow bus plowing through farmers’ fields and across rough terrain.
Watching a lumbering school bus take to off-road escape routes makes for surreal viewing. However bewildering his intentions, the driver’s lengthy and bizarre flight guaranteed a memorable, if utterly futile, place in the annals of police chases.
