Deputies in Spokane County, Washington recovered a rental car that had been reported stolen out of Dallas, Texas back in October. The woman caught driving the Dodge Durango told authorities she was simply too busy to return it, according to the sheriff’s office.
The flimsy excuse did little to spare her from the consequences. Holding onto a rental for more than a month past its return is a quick path to theft charges, regardless of how hectic one’s schedule may be.
