The Orange County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help identifying 30 suspects from a violent street takeover held on November 30. Not only did these dorks build a fire in the middle of a busy intersection while doing donuts around it, causing a huge traffic snarl, they attacked innocent motorists who were caught in the chaos, including one who had baby inside her car.
Why do cities tolerate street takeovers?
We have zero sympathy for the street takeover “culture” since it’s based on sowing chaos, damaging city infrastructure, destroying cars, and attacking innocent people who happen upon the illegal gatherings. Unlike in some areas where offenders get a pass, it seems the Orange County Sheriff’s Office in Orlando is gearing up to put the smack down on these suspects.
According to the sheriff’s office, the takeover shut down the intersection of South John Young Parkway and Central Florida Parkway. When the takeover dorks felt like motorists weren’t respecting them, they jumped on cars, smashing in their windshields and back windows, crumpling hoods, etc. In other words, they behaved like all weak men throwing a tantrum.
Watch the video from the sheriff’s department we’ve included in this post, which highlights each of the 30 suspects they’re hunting.
With a strict new law targeting not only street takeover participants but spectators as well, Florida law enforcement can do more to combat this wild problem. But first suspects have to be brought to justice and that’s where the public’s help is needed. These guys can’t get away with attacking people, including putting a baby at risk. There’s no excusing this behavior.
Watch the video and see if you recognize anyone, plus spread this around.
If you know anything about these suspects, do the right thing and pass that info on to the sheriff’s office or Crimeline at (800) 423-8477 to submit an anonymous tip.
