Usually when there’s a vehicle crashing into one that’s parked, it’s the Mustang that’s the culprit. But in this home surveillance footage we see the tables get turned as a Ford Ranger crashes into a Mustang in one of the most brutal fashions imaginable.

Watch a stolen grocery getter smoke pursuing cops.

The video opens with the S550 Mustang parked outside a house on what appears to be a rural road. You can hear the Ranger approaching when it collides with something and you see it come into frame, kicking up dust on the far shoulder of the road before it literally goes sideways at a good clip.

As it travels across the driveway skirt to the house and then off onto the soft shoulder, which appears to have a skiff of snow, the higher center of gravity works against the Ranger. The truck rolls one time, the Mustang perhaps stopping it from rolling any more.

That’s right, the Ranger lands on top of the back end of the pony car, arresting its movement in a good way, at least for the driver in the pickup. Speaking of him, he gets out of the cab, avoiding serious injury as the roof has been partly caved in.

Instead of standing there and assessing the damage while thanking his lucky stars he’s still alive, the guy tries slamming the truck door behind him as if he’s annoyed. When the door doesn’t just catch since the body is all messed up, he seems a little shocked.

Then the guy just walks casually around his wrecked truck that’s on top of a Mustang, spraying himself with something (Axe body spray, maybe?) before he just walks casually off like nothing happened.

The only people we know who like to spray themselves in a situation like that are smokers or alcoholics because they’re trying to cover up the smell of what they’ve been doing. We’re not saying this guy was doing either, but the latter would explain the crash and his just leaving the scene immediately.

In the meantime, the Mustang owner has probably dealt with a nightmare insurance claims process. What do you want to bet that old Ranger didn’t have collision coverage?
