Repeat Offender Teen Crashes Camaro SS Running From Cops

It’s always interesting to see kids like this repeat offender with a higher-powered car like this Chevy Camaro SS try running from police. While they can sometimes manage it just by the grace of having a more powerful vehicle than the cops, when the skill required to get away is higher, they wreck out like you see in this dashcam footage.

Lamborghini Huracan STO driver flips supercar on California highway.

A sergeant spots the red American muscle car doing donuts in front of an apartment complex and gives chase. We’re not sure if he recognized the vehicle from an earlier incident or was just trying to catch a reckless driver. Either way, a chase ensues as other units in the area jump in to help.

Our suspect driver nails it and tries gapping his pursuers, blasting around on surface streets before suddenly cutting onto the freeway. Normally that’s a good move for getting to higher speeds, really pushing the advantage of a performance ride like the Chevy.

But in this case, the freeway was fairly busy with traffic in both lanes. To get around all that, without letting the cops catch up with him, the Camaro driver has to start “swimming” or swerving through the lanes and hitting gaps where a lane is open.

It’s almost like a form of high speed slalom only the cones are cars and they’re driving fast, plus they can move, making the stunt even harder to perform. For the most skilled racecar drivers out there, it would be a difficult task.

For this kid who might not even have any formal driving instruction, getting through traffic at high speeds with cops on his tail proves too much. He sideswipes a car and possibly hits others, then pulls off the freeway only to find the Camaro is done.

The kid drove hard until his skills were outstripped. Thankfully, he didn’t kill anyone.
