A man in Cincinnati, Ohio is accused of crashing a stolen Dodge Challenger into a school playground, and he was caught via Facebook. This story is so bizarre, we just had to share it.
Watch a Dodge Challenger fleeing police wreck out at 160 mph.
The suspect in question is Nathaniel Frazier and he’s facing a string of charges that include vandalism, receiving stolen property, and obstructing official business. It all stems from an incident back on May 13 at a parking garage in Cincinnati.
Police showed up after someone called about 20 to 30 guys with their cars gathering on the roof of the parking garage, refusing to leave after they were told to. As detectives arrived on the roof to investigate, the men scattered, reports WXIX.
Officers at the exit to the garage had a plate reader going to record who had been on the scene. Perhaps sensing the trap, Frazier allegedly drove through the guard arm at the garage’s entrance, then went the wrong way down roads, running stops signs, weaving through traffic, almost hitting a marked police cruiser, before finally crashing through a fence and into an elementary school playground.
He then took off on foot, ditching the stolen muscle car.
Police weren’t sure who the suspect driver was, that is until there was a sudden, unexpected break in the case.
Frazier’s undoing ultimately was a Facebook post. Someone on the social media site provided police with a very clear image of the teenager sitting on the stolen Mopar muscle car, proving he was in possession of it.
With that evidence, one of the officers who was at the parking garage positively identified Frazier as the driver of the stolen Dodge Challenger.
This just goes to show even if you do get away from police, you can still be tracked down and face the consequences of your criminal actions.
