Do we have an interesting find for you: a 1961 Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud II that’s not only beautiful but surprisingly affordable. You might be thinking it’s well into the six digits, but if so, you’d be dead wrong. And it doesn’t appear to have any serious issues.
Maybe you ‘d prefer an even more affordable 1999 Toyota Century limousine instead?
Obviously, we haven’t seen this Rolls in person, but the many photos used for the listing on Facebook Marketplace look fantastic. We don’t see obvious paint blemishes, the interior doesn’t show damage or abnormal wear, and the seller says it “drives great.”

What more could you possibly want?
For snobby collectors, the Silver Cloud II won’t get them all worked up since values have taken a serious hit in the last four years. It used to be you couldn’t touch one in good condition for south of at least $100,000 and is some cases into the $200,000s.
But thanks to rapid deflation in the collector car market, this and other classics you probably dreamt of owning and enjoying are now well within reach of enthusiasts. We think that’s great since the era of rich guys buying up rafts of classics to have them sit in preservation bubbles and be treated like “investment wine” was genuinely ruining the hobby.

Cars were made to be driven and this classic Rolls-Royce would be amazing to just cruise in around town, go to a show, or chauffeur your kid to prom. The body lines are simple and elegant, the interior is plush, there’s even a Spirit of Ecstasy hood ornament.
With 42,000 miles showing, the owner of this ’61 Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud II is asking $52,000. If you pass on this one for whatever reason, a quick search online uncovered others close to this one in price, so you have options.
