In a horrific accident on the M25 in the UK recently, a Ferrari Dino that was in transit was crushed and mangled. Footage of the accident aftermath is enough to make us cry, but at least nobody died.
Tesla is idling Cybertruck and Model Y production, again.
Classic car dealer LUDEN Automotive shared the crash aftermath footage to social media site X. According to the business, the driver of the wrecker which was transporting the Dino only sustained minor injuries.
You can see in the video the windshield on that wrecker is punched on the passenger side (which is on the opposite as the passenger side in a vehicle here). There’s damage down that side of the truck cab as well.
While that’s bad enough, as the cameraman keeps walking down the vehicle, we see the Dino is heavily damaged as well. Since it’s not made from as tough of stuff as the truck, it really took a beating with the sheet metal concaved in and even gouged in places on its passenger side.
The sad result of a collision on the M25 yesterday. Fortunately the driver got out of the Iveco with minor injuries (and another driver had a broken leg, which was a miracle considering the state of his vehicle). As LUDEN rightly points out, thanks to the overall value of the Ferrari it will likely be fully restored. After all, these Dinos are worth a pretty penny on today’s market, even as the overall collector car market implodes. Some rides are just too iconic to go with market trends.
The driver of the other vehicle, which had to be something fairly large to do all that damage up high, apparently suffered a broken leg. Still, the situation could have easily turned fatal for either driver, so that’s the silver lining in an otherwise awful car accident.
