It comes as a surprise that Chevy dealers are having even more trouble moving C8 Z06 Corvettes than standard Stingrays. The base Stingray has already become a tough sell as demand softens and inventory lingers on lots.
That the higher-performance Z06 is faring worse points to a broader chill in the sports car market. After years of frenzied demand and markups, the C8 lineup now appears to be cooling off across the board.
