Watching a suspect flee police aboard a Can-Am Spyder through the streets of Atlanta is bizarre on multiple levels. Like many pursuits, this one featured close calls and a dramatic finish, but the choice of a three-wheeled Spyder as a getaway vehicle made it especially strange.
The unusual machine did little to improve the rider’s odds of escaping. As the chase wound down, it joined the long list of ill-conceived attempts to outrun law enforcement using whatever happened to be parked in the driveway.
