A Michigan man joined a court hearing virtually to answer a charge of driving on a suspended license, only to be visibly driving his car during the proceeding. The judge was not amused by the ironic spectacle that everyone in the courtroom could plainly see.
Few self-incriminating moments are as glaring as committing the alleged offense live before a judge. The blunder is a striking example of poor judgment, and it certainly didn’t help the man’s standing in the case.
