Now that’s a thoroughly abused pony car. Plenty of drivers with expired registrations, outstanding warrants, or other reasons to dread a traffic stop assume that quietly turning off the road once an officer appears won’t raise any suspicion.
This battered Mustang’s driver apparently shared that mistaken belief. An Arkansas trooper wasn’t fooled, and the attempt to slip away ended with the car being brought to a stop.
