Newly released dashcam and traffic camera footage from the Ohio Department of Transportation shows the harrowing moment a minivan driver caused a multi-vehicle crash on a busy Ohio highway after making an abrupt maneuver to avoid missing an exit. The video shows the driver veering sharply across multiple lanes of traffic, leaving other motorists with almost no time to react. Several vehicles were involved in the resulting collision, and authorities are using the footage as part of their ongoing investigation.

Safety advocates are pointing to the incident as a reminder of the dangers of last-second lane changes and the importance of simply taking the next exit and doubling back rather than risking a crash. While the driver’s intentions may have been to avoid inconvenience, the decision put multiple lives at risk. Law enforcement has not yet announced whether charges will be filed, but the footage leaves little ambiguity about what caused the accident.

  1. I wish someone would educate people more like the passing lane. Heck general rules of the road they basically give the license away nowadays I feel like you pay all that money for these special things that you have to take you don’t want to fail is if you fail you paid all that money for nothing so that’s why they pretty much give people their and it’s a scam and it’s not right and they don’t they need to fail some of these people. Act like it’s all the speeders that cause the accidents all the time no it’s not aggressive driver Drive safest he’s aware the people that have passengers in the car and they’re sitting there talking and using the phone and in in their own little world they shouldn’t leave the driveway if they’re not ready to drive.
