Officers responded to a 911 call at 10:41 p.m. Saturday night. Upon arrival, they found victims bound and gagged, stating that at least three armed assailants had invaded their home. The suspects were wearing ski masks, and the exact number of victims has not been disclosed by the police.

According to the victims, a family member of the homeowner allowed the suspects into the residence. The intruders subsequently forced the victims into the kitchen, where they used duct tape to bind their mouths, hands, and legs.

The assailants made off with various high-value items, including a 2019 Dodge Challenger and eight American Bully Merle puppies, each valued between $5,000 and $10,000. In total, the stolen property is worth well over $100,000, according to police estimates.

Golden Valley Police Chief Virgil Green stressed the calculated nature of the invasion. “This was an isolated incident and based on our initial investigation and discussions with the victims, it’s clear these suspects had help from a family member,” said Green. “They knew exactly what they were after when they entered the home. We are confident that the information we have will lead to arrests.”

Anyone with information regarding the case is encouraged to contact the Golden Valley Police Department at 763-593-8059.
